TECLA Cuba
The Center for Latin American and Latinx Studies at the University of Pennsylvania is happy to announce the second event of our new series TECLA: Taller de Eventos Contemporáneos de América Latina.

On Tuesday, September 28 at 4:30 pm a virtual panel will discuss the current situation in Cuba.

Panelists:
Dr. Ailynn Torres Santana is a postdoctoral researcher with the International Research Group on Authoritarianism and Counter-Strategies (IRGAC) of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, a visiting researcher at the Freie Universität Berlin, and an associate researcher at FLACSO Ecuador.

Dr. William M. LeoGrande is Associate Vice-Provost for Academic Affairs, Professor of Government, and Dean Emeritus of the School of Public Affairs at American University in Washington, D.C. Previously, he worked on staff at the Democratic Policy Committee of the United States Senate and the Democratic Caucus Task Force on Central America of the United States House of Representatives.

Dr. Julio Cesar Guanche Zaldivar has been a professor at the University of Havana and directed several national publications and publishing houses. He worked for several years for the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema. He has published prologues and chapters in more than 20 volumes. He is the author of many books.
